    Shu Gan Li Dan Gong Standing Meditation Zoom presentation lecture by Simon Watson

    This sequence, created by professor Zhang Guangde, is a set of dynamic exercises for the prevention and treatment of acute and chronic disorders of the liver and gall bladder by means of readjusting the energetic systems. It is a set of DYYSG exercises, based on the meridian system, to increase the capacity of the Liver and the Gall Bladder, in order to treat or prevent chronic hepatic diseases, the inflammation of the Gall Bladder. It combines the wisdom of traditional health cultivation and preservation and the research of modern Chinese medical science. Its purpose is to open and connect the meridians and significant acupoints by using the minds intention, regulation of respiration and body posture.


    About Simon

    Simon Watson is the president of the English Dao Yin Yang Sheng Gong Association and is a disciple of Professor Zhang Guangde the founder and creator of the Dao Yin Yang Sheng Gong system.

    Simon has been studying and practising Dao Yin since 1989 and in 2019 was awarded his 7th Duan from Beijing University for Physical Education, for his 31years of commitment and dedication, which he received personally from Professor Zhang.

    Simon coached the 2010 winning team at the 10th Health Qigong Competition in Beijing.  The team won the gold medal for their performance and along with the English Daoyin founder Richard Watson was delighted when eight of its members attained their 4th Duan qualifications in Dao Yin Yang Sheng Gong.


    The English Daoyin Association presently numbers 50 instructors and well in excess of 3,000 students and is committed to the growth of Daoyin Yang Sheng Gong.

    The seminars will be conducted in a friendly and informal manner and enable both teachers and students to delve deeper into this fascinating subject. It will also allow attendees a chance to make notes and raise queries and questions surrounding topics such as; physical, medical, philosophical and cultural subjects relating to Dao Yin.
