Daoyin Disciple

Professor Zhang presented 11 of his disciples with a specially made sword during an auspicious ceremony in China. Among the disciples who received a sword were his most senior students; these included Yang Bai Long, Hu Xiao Fei and our own Longfei Chairman Richard Watson! He was made a 1st generation disciple for his 19 years of commitment, involvement, vision and tireless promotion of the Daoyin system. Richard was also given a 6th Duan for his technical excellence and performance.

Both the Ru Shi Dizi and the Duan were accepted by Richard graciously and modestly. The future for Daoyin looks bright and Richard has made a special commitment and already put into place arrangements for our next trip to China in 2010 to train exclusively with Professor Zhang - a commitment they are both very excited about. I would like to personally congratulate Richard and I am sure all Longfei teachers and members will second this. Well done Richard!
