The 11th summer camp proved to be a great success, catering for 70 delegates it surpassed all the previous ten for attendance. My thanks to all of you for your support.
The foundations for our next trip to China are already laid and at the time of publication there are still a few vacancies open. For those of you who have already booked we will be travelling again over the Easter break 2008 (i.e. Good Friday and Easter Monday will form the middle weekend of the trip). There will not be as much travel involved as the 2006 trip. More time will be spent training in Beijing. We plan one journey to Yongnian County to visit the birthplace of "Yang LuChan" creator of the Yang style of taijiquan. The curriculum of Longfei is founded in the Yang style so we can look upon the visit as returning to the roots and the home of the Yang family tradition. From memory (I last did the trip in 1991) I think the journey is about a five-hour coach ride and we plan to be away from Beijing only for two nights. More information will be available to those of you who have reserved a place in the near future. Easter dates to be announced.
The camp will again take place on the last weekend in July 26-27-28-29, assembling between 1500-1800hrs on Wednesday 25 July. The content for 2007 will remain the same as 2006. This will enable delegates to substantiate their training of last year or swap to an alternative group. Newcomers will also have the opportunity to study the Standardised 56 Yang Jian and the Yang Dao, first introduced in 2006.

Delegates need to select their preferred choice when completing the booking form for the morning sessions.
Over the afternoon sessions delegates have freedom of choice on the discipline they wish to practice and are free to move around the disciplines at will.
A complete programme will be available on arrival.
The two workshops will cover one half of the routine, the second half will be completed in 2008. This will be a great opportunity for newcomers to the Chen style and for those who have experience, the chance to improve their skills.
Dao Yin Yang Sheng Gong Workshop 24-25 February 2007. Mark has spent many hours studying dao yin theory since we saw him last year. This enhanced information has been gathered from Professor Zhang Guande. The weekend will give delegates the opportunity to appreciate some of the finer points of the dao yin system. Workshops will include both internal and medical theory. and the principles of dao yin.
Master Wang Yanji will visit the UK on 26 May to 3 June 2007.
Master Wang will visit the UK again on 2-4 November 2007. The Friday and weekend workshops will follow the same format as May/June above.
An evening with J Krishnamurti Friday 16 February (starting at 18:30 at Codicote Peace Memorial Hall). I have had a number of requests to do another evening with a video/DVD of one of the famous man's public talks. The intriguing title of the talk is: "Attention is the Flame in Which Sorrow Ends"
