Classic Corner

Continuing the theme of masters of health preservation: Genuine, Supreme, Sage and Sagacious Man.

Sage: (1) Often Iron, a profoundly wise man (2) any of the ancients traditionally regarded as the wisest of their time. Profoundly wise from experience, indicating profound wisdom etc, not to be confused when combined with onions and stuck up your chicken at Xmas.

Sincere words are not sweet,
The Sage does not take to hoarding,
Sweet words are not sincere.
The more he lives for others, the fuller is his life.
Good men are not argumentative,
The more he gives, the more he abounds.
The argumentative are not good.
The wise are not erudite,
The way of Heaven is to benefit, not to harm.
The erudite are not wise.
The way of the Sage is to do his duty,
Not to strive with anyone.
