Da Lu:

Big roll back. Two person co-ordinated Tuishou so called because the pull (Lu) is much larger than either the pull in the Taiji form or pull in fixed step Tuishou. Da Lu training incorporates the methods of Lu and Kao (shoulder stroke). The direction of the stepping is to the four corners. Also: Ta Lu.

Daoist: A follower of the Daoist Philosophy. Also: Taoist.
Dao:  The Way.
Dao:  Sabre.
Daoqi Linghe: Achieving harmony through Qi guidance.
Diqi: Earth Qi (earth energy Yin Qi).
Dian Xue:
Dim Mak:
Attacking vital points.
Fa: Attacking.
Fafang: To discharge.
Fajin: Issuing energy, attacking force. An important aspect of Taijiquan Tuishou. Important considerations for success are one's own level of skill. The partner's level, opportunity, but most important is the timing.
Fang Sung: Relaxation, perhaps the most repeated instruction to Taiji practitioners but the most difficult to come to terms with. Sometimes described as a perfect balance between Yin and Yang.
Grong Bu: Bow Step.
Gou Hook the hand as in Tan Bien (single whip)..
Guanqifa: Qi penetrating techniques.
Gongfu: Achieving technical skill. Also Kungfu.
Hsin: Mind, essence of mind.
Ha-Heng: Breathing sounds associated with Qigong breathing methods.
Huangdi Neijing: Internal medicine, classic of the Yellow Emperor.
Huiyin: Accupuncture point located at the Perineum.
Huantiao: Accupuncture point located in the gluteal muscles.
Hukou: "The tiger's mouth". Opening created by flexing and rounding the thumb and forefinger.
Huo: Fire.
I: Mind, manifestation of, i.e.: ideation and will. Also: Yi.
Jian: Sword, double edged straight sword.
Jianhua/Taijiquan: Simplified Taijiquan.
Ji: Press. One of the four kinetic energies (power) from the sequence: "Grasp the Sparrow's Tail."
Jin: Martial art power, kinetic force.
Also: Jing or chin.
Jin Dian: Energy points. To align the body for optimum use of kinetic force.
Jin Lu: Energy Path. Pathway for the efficient use of kinetic force.
Jing: Essence.
Jing Luo: Accupuncture channels. (Meridians).
Jing Shen: Essence of vital energy and spirit.
Kai: To open.
Kai Li Bu: Open stance.
Kao: Shoulder stroke. (See Da lu).
Kong Qi: Natural air which we breathe.
Kua: The area of the body covering the hips, thighs, inquinal joints, sacro illiac joints and pelvis.
Kungfu: See Gongfu. Western overview for Chinese martial arts.
